Our project is talking about gender- based violence against women. All women have to be free and be what they want to be. It’s important to talk about this problem, because around the world a lot of women are silenced. We have to do something, and we want to start to talk aloud with this video. It isn’t easy to change this situation, but unity is the strength.
#NoEsHoraDeCallar was born as a sensibilization about this dramatic problem. We were inspired by the Jineth Bedoya movement and her courage to be a woman journalist in Colombia. The video wants to represent the reality of the Colombian country and we used sad music to immerse all the people in the story, because It’s not easy, it’s not happy… It’s only the truth.

We, as a group, found this work extremely interesting beacuse it stimulated us to reflect on similar issues we highlighted in our project. In fact, we think that all forms of violence must be aknowledged and condemned, we 100% share the messages in this video. Also, for the same reason, we loved the effort you put in every detail and in the reacearch of datas and journalists, in the video and so on.
